Here is a screenshot of the range of ships my raspberryPi powered AIS receiver gets right now. From Rotterdam in the south to far above the West Friesian Islands in the north. Few bigger ships in the IJsselmeer are received also.

Amsterdam, IJmuiden harbour, the North Sea Canal and the IJmuiden approach zone are fully covered.

Am 26 Januar (welch blöder Termin) wird die weltgrößte Schleuse in IJmuiden offiziell eröffnet und in Betrieb genommen. Die Schleuse ist zwischen der Nordsee und dem Nordseekanal der zum Port of Amsterdam führt. Die Eröffnung kann auf

Zeesluis Ijmuiden (openingzeesluisijmuiden.nl)

Live verfolgt werden. Es wird dann viel Prominenz, unter anderem der niederländische König anwesend sein.

Die Webcam an der Schleuse (Sealock) in IJmuiden funktioniert mit dem originalen Link, der auf der Seite https://www.portofamsterdam.com/en/webcam-sealock angegeben ist, leider nicht mit Chrome. Safari, und Internet-Explorer zeigen das Kamerabild an.
